MMO
has developed a panel of support services that
assist consumers in succeeding in everyday life.
These include assistance in securing housing,
clothing, food, medications and transportation.
The
need for some of the support services, such as
transportation, was so great that they evolved into
stand-alone businesses. MMO started transportation
services because of the difficulty it was having
securing dependable transportation for its consumers
to and from its programs. That internal need grew to
become Reliant Transportation, which now provides
medical, business and leisure transportation service
to the Baton Rouge community-at-large. |

Medical
Management Options (MMO) is on a
mission to restore and rebuild lives affected by mental
illness. Our goal is to develop complete mental health
programs that foster dignity and stability in human lives.
MMO
began as a single service agency operating out of
one location. Today the company employs over 400
people and treats hundreds of consumers each day in
one of its numerous programs. The growth of MMO has
been carefully managed to ensure that each
component meets an identified community need while
being financially viable. Where possible, services
are added that contribute to the development of a
continuum of consumer care. |
